The safety of present transportation systems is strained in perceiving significant uncertainties and predicting the behavior of other vehicles. Vehicular communication enhances safety in emergency events by sharing vehicles’ intentions. However, disseminating emergency messages to target vehicles is challenging in rapidly changing vehicular topology. This paper proposes an emergency packet routing algorithm for such messages in vehicular networks by collecting trajectory data. The emergency packets contain information on predicting the collision of one vehicle with other vehicles using maximum transmission propagating distance, overall traffic, and candidate number. The collision prediction algorithm is simulated using python and other supported libraries.
