Biomimetic flapping wing aircraft, known for their high concealment and flexibility, are ideal for various observation and reconnaissance tasks. However, many current flapping wing aircraft lack landing and perching mechanisms, limiting their ability to remain stationary for reconnaissance and concealment. This study focuses on a bird-inspired flapping wing aircraft that integrates a landing mechanism with its flight system. The research includes aircraft design, kinematic analysis of the flapping wing and leg-claw mechanisms, and kinematic simulations of the landing and perching processes using ADAMS to validate the feasibility of the integrated design. The ornithopter presented in this study features a highly biomimetic design, a stable flapping wing mechanism, and a dependable grasping mechanism.
