Summary form only given. In order to extend the laser tuning range while retaining the advantages of the electrical tuning technique, a nonlinear wave-conversion technique without nonlinear-crystal rotation for satisfactory phase matching is required. We designed a broadband, achromatic second-harmonic generator for a Ti:sapphire laser electrically tuned wider than 300 nm by introducing a paraboloidal mirror for beam recombining onto one optical pass.
