The reliable and safe operation of EV s requires an accurate state of health (SOH) estimation technique for the battery management system (BMS). In this regard, this paper investigates incremental capacity analysis (ICA) based SOH estimation technique for EV application. Based on calendar aging results of LIB obtained at NASA Ames Center, the health condition of the battery has been explored using the ICA. Furthermore, the proposed technique has been validated under different operating conditions. The battery degradation has been evaluated considering electrochemical behavior such as loss of active material (LAM), loss of lithium inventory (LLI), and conductivity loss (CL) using I C curves
