This research designed a car anti-theft system based on face recognition, which achieves the security protection of cars through a series of steps such as face detection, processing, and recognition. Gaussian filtering is used to reduce image noise. A user database is established, and face matching and recognition are realized. Raspberry Pi 3B+ and Arduino UNO are used as the main and secondary control modules, which control the face recognition process, car locks, alarms, and other functions respectively. The system performs well in enhancing the anti-theft security of cars, providing new ideas and methods for research and practice in the field of automotive safety.
