The output of solar panel and fuel cells based renewable source require an intermediate converter which keeps the DC bus stiff. This manuscript presents a high gain voltage converter with voltage multiplier cell (VMC). In order to produce a high output voltage, the VMC is made up of a diode and a capacitor that are connected in peculiar way. The proposed topology consist of an active switched network (a combination of inductor and switches) which shares the same amount of current, lowering conduction losses and increasing overall efficiency. The mathematical analysis and MATLAB simulation is performed in continuous conduction mode (CCM) to verify the theoretical concept. Moreover voltage control loop based PI controller is designed to achieve stability.
