Selective interconnection between vertically integrated waveguides by grating couplers was discussed. A device of three waveguides with grating couplers was designed and fabricated. Wavelength selective contradirectional interconnection was successfully demonstrated. Codirectional interconnection and high efficiency coupling are now under study.
