A recent topic of interest at cybersecurity conferences such as Black Hat2 and DEF CON3 has been ways that drones can be hacked and possibly used as weapons or as tools to exfiltrate information from other systems. Consequently, the third article in this issue which discusses securing cyber-physical systems of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) discusses a topic that is current of interest to many.
