Summary form only given. The linear and nonlinear optical properties of Fullerene C/sub 60/-doped liquid crystal cored optical fibers and arrays capable of high resolution image transmission are investigated. These devices are capable of optical limiting and protection against nanosecond frequency agile lasers.
