For weak target detection and interference suppression, we consider a joint design of transmit waveform and space–time receive filter to reduce the waveform autocorrelation peak sidelobe level and interference cross-correlation peak level. First, we propose a design criterion, which formulates the multi-${L_{p}}$ norm and signal-interference-noise-ratio model under the constraints of waveform and mismatched filter to suppress digital radio frequency memory interference. Second, we present an iterative penalty majorization–minimization (IPMM) algorithm to solve the multi-${L_{p}}$ norm nonconvex optimization problem. Finally, a majorization peak sidelobe level model is proposed, which enhances the convergence speed of the IPMM algorithm. Numerical results show that the proposed approach has a better performance and higher computational speed than conventional ones.
