Bus Courier Transit, a system based on IoT technology, facilitates automated parcel delivery in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) bus fleet. The current manual system causes delays, inefficiencies, and revenue mismanagement. The solution implemented includes a customer mobile app to verify bus availability, track real-time location, and pay via digital modes. Booked parcels are then sent out from the bus station office. The system drives transparency, security, and efficiency with real-time tracking, authentication by OTP-based, and alarm by automation. The solution enables automated customer convenience, protects delivery parcels, and optimizes revenue management. The solution also supports the Naan Mudhalvan Niral Thiruvizha mission by applying GPS-based tracking to optimize route planning, real-time status, and enhanced transport efficiency. With increased public transport (SDG 11), innovation (SDG 9), and schedule optimization to reduce fuel consumption (SDG 12), the system offers a clean, safe, and secure logistics system.
