We implement the belief propagation algorithm onto some decomposable linear block codes and obtain bit error rate performances for some of the decomposable codes over additive white Gaussian noise channel. A comparison between the belief propagation algorithm and the Viterbi algorithm is also performed with respect to the obtained error performances.
