The selected harmonic elimination pulse width modulation (SHEPWM) is widely applied in the occasion of low switching frequency. In this paper the SHEPWM technique for inverter drives and power supplies are used by regular sampling technique. These PWM strategies can be generated on-line in real time using a microprocessor without resorting to the off-line numerical technique. Even number of switching angle for SHEPWM is derived. The harmonic distributions are analyzed and the differences between the numerical technique and regular sampling are compared.
