According to the working principle and configuration characteristics of the double planetary CATARC hybrid system, the parameters of the hybrid powertrain were calculated and optimized. Based on the performance requirements of 12m hybrid bus, the power matching calculation and efficiency matching calculation were carried out, and the basic performance parameters of the engine, traction motor and generator were matched. At the same time, the CRUSIE software was used as the simulation platform, and the whole vehicle simulation model was built, and the simulation of the matching of the CHS powertrain parameters was carried out. The results are shown that the matching of CHS hybrid powertrain parameters can meet the performance requirements of 12m bus.
