With the new wave of construction of domestic airports in China, mainline airports are planning to construct 3-4 runways in the next few years. Under the premise that the number of landing and takeoff flights is increasing, the runway incursion prevention technology is especially important. Runway status lights, used as an automatic operation system, are not dependent on other external conditions or the intervention of other departments and are the most favorable among all runway incursion prevention systems. However, the communication method of its lighting subsystem has not formed a unified opinion in China. As a result, the runway status lights system is only reserved for the base of lights and lanterns in many airport construction feasibility study plans, and no complete lighting sub-system design plan has been made. In this paper, Analytic Hierarchy Process, as an auxiliary for software yaahp is used to analyze the decision process of the lighting subsystem control method from the aspects of control delay, reliability, and construction difficulty, and finally draw a conclusion, The lighting subsystem control scheme suitable for the construction of runway status lights system in chinese civil airport is individual light controller control based on optical fiber communication.
