Aircraft landing gear system is one of the important systems of aircraft, with which phase of flight that take-off, landing, taxiing and parking can be completed. In order to accurately locate aircraft landing gear faults, quantitatively analyze the fault, and provide a basis for the maintenance of landing gear system, a method is proposed. Based on the traditional fault tree diagnosis, combining fuzzy fault tree and Bayesian network to do the fault diagnosis of the landing gear system. Taking AIRBUS A320 landing gear extension and retraction system as an example, the fault tree was established, and the fuzzy probability of the underlying event was obtained through the fuzzy fault tree. Then the fuzzy fault tree was mapped into Bayesian network for troubleshooting analysis. With the posterior probability and importance of the root node were obtained in Bayesian network, troubleshooting and evaluation can be done. The example shows that the method is feasible.
