This note deals with the problem of observer-based gain-scheduled H∞ control for a class of linear parameter-varying systems with time-varying delays in the state and input. A new delay-dependent H∞ performance criterion is developed via a parameter-dependent Lyapunov approach. Sufficient conditions are presented to design gain-scheduled controllers and state observers to guarantee that the resulting closed-loop system is asymptotically stable with a prescribed H∞ performance level in terms of parameterized linear matrix inequalities.
