The paper presents on-ground static load test preparation and execution for UAV pre-flight structural strength verification. The test object is RPAS - remotely piloted aerial target named Hornet, which is used in Polish Air Force. Due to a proposal for introducing some structural modifications in a new Hornet version, the ground tests were performed before flight test campaign, to ensure the strength operational safety of modified structure. The special modular test rig was designed as well as measurement system for local strain and element displacement data acquisition. Achieved data as well as post-test remarks are presented.
