In this paper, we explore the implementation and performance of cellular stream cipher algorithms for multimedia encryption, marking the first comprehensive assessment within the cellular standards. We evaluate these algorithms across the formats like text, audio, images, and video, using key metrics to gauge their efficiency and suitability for secure communication. This work addresses a significant gap in the literature on secure multimedia transmission over cellular networks.
