Investigation of some properties of circularly polarized surface Bessel light beams (BLBs) is reported. Surface BLBs are known with their complex polarization and spatial structure. Such beams can be used in optical microscopy and defectoscopy, in photolithography, and in optical recording and read-out schemes.
