In this paper, we used the terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS) system to measure spatially-resolved absorption spectra in crushed wheat grain over the frequency range 0.1-4.0 THz. PTFE sheet was used as a suitable material for the sample holder to measure the absorption spectra of whole-wheat grain and crushed wheat grain with 8%, 12% and 18% moisture content.
