Environmental and energy security concerns are transforming the way we think about energy. Environmental and energy challenges can be addressed using Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEVs). Automobile manufacturers have understood that EVs are important to the industry's future. Access to charging, EV range, perceived cost, and lack of public understanding about the availability and usability of these vehicles are all obstacles to increased adoption. Although EVs have a greater upfront cost, their operational costs are cheaper. When compared to traditional Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles (ICEVs), policies that lower the total cost of ownership of EVs and PHEVs will contribute to faster market penetration. There is a major need for fast charging stations and infrastructure to support such a high number of EVs on the road. This paper examines numerous elements, including their rate of acceleration, different rapid charging strategies, and different power converter topologies for EVs, as stated above and explored in more detail in subsequent parts. When charging a vehicle's battery, the battery's safety and charging time must be taken into account.
