Because of the warhead servo interference and large work overload conditions and the servo motor friction generated, the system has a non-linear characteristics, traditional closed-loop control is difficult to meet the control requirements. To solve this problem, the use of generalized predictive control, and compared with the minimum variance control, generalized minimum variance control characteristics, results and shortcomings. Generalized predictive control can use the rolling optimization, improve the adaptive performance of the system greatly. Simulation results show that self-tuning control of air defense missile systems servo warhead can play a good effect, especially in the face of non-minimum phase systems, generalized predictive control reflects its unique advantages.
