█ This paper presented the Service-Based modeling approach associated to semantic annotations for enhancing the service discovery and selection process in SWIM Consumer Systems. █ The major contribution of the proposed approach was focused on the application of semantic annotation to known pre-selection services in the consumer system architectural model. █ With semantic descriptions and detailed required interfaces, the model can provide choices to locate services. █ Model experiments show evidence that it is possible to improve the service discovery and selection process with pre-selection interfaces modeled at consumer application.
