A practically compact prototype of dual-band base station for use in the dual-band ROF systems is described. This system is used to realize the dual-band ROF transmission, where microwave- and mm-wave-band radio signals are simultaneously transmitted in single optical fiber link. An error-free simultaneous fiber-optic transmission of 2.45-GHz and 60-GHz-band signals with the dual-band BS prototype is also experimentally demonstrated.
