A T slit Koch fractal compact MIMO antenna with a microstrip line feed is presented. The proposed fractal increases the electrical length thus reduces the overall dimensions of regular antenna for a specified frequency of operation, creating a miniaturized configuration. The T slit is proposed for isolation enhancement and two identical antenna elements are orthogonally placed with a distance O.2SAo to exhibit polarization diversity and high isolation in a compact planar MIMO antenna. The proposed antenna with 3rd order T slit Koch fractal MIMO antenna operates at 1.lGHz. The antenna has Envelope Correlation Coefficient (ECC) lesser than 0.0002 and diversity gain around 9.9dB. Modeling, simulation and experiments are presented; it confirms that the proposed antenna exhibits high isolation, polarization diversity and well defined radiation performance over the operating frequency band.
