High-frequency isolated dual-active-bridge (DAB) dc-dc converter has two operation modes: synchronous mode and phase shifting mode. In synchronous mode, the output voltage changes in the same extent with the input voltage. In phase shifting mode, the output voltage can remain stable when both the input voltage and the load change. In this paper, the soft switching ranges of the dc-dc converter are analyzed considering the harmonic components. It is more accurate than method which considers the fundamental components only.
