We propose a novel terahertz time-domain spectrometer using two asynchronous-controlled femtosecond lasers. The proposed spectrometer features ultrahigh-resolution equivalent to a laser mode-locked frequency at rapid data acquisition less than 10 sec based on an asynchronous optical sampling method.
