This work seeks to determine the energy consumption of a fleet of $\mathbf{1 5}$ diesel and nine electric buses working under real conditions in urban and rural areas in Chile. This fleet was monitored using a telematics system for more than three months, with data obtained at $\gt 0.2 \mathrm{~Hz}$ of location, speed, engine RPM, and energy consumption. An average consumption of 43.02 L/100km was obtained for diesel buses and 128.54 kWh/100km (17.23 DEL/100km) for electric buses.
