The distinction between the electronic and nuclear contributions is of importance for adequate analysis of observed ultrafast intensity dependent refractive index (IDRI). The complementary approaches of experiments and calculations with paying the attention to the distinction may effective to evaluate and prospect to nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of materials.
