This paper presents a design control circuit for cascaded Half-bridge multilevel inverter based on PV connected to the grid. The main objectives of the proposed circuit is to get a high number of output voltage levels for the grid without stepup transformer and reducing the Total Harmonics Distortion (THD). Then the proposed circuit is controlled by an advanced control method, which is based on direct quadratic (DQ) frame. By aid of Power Simulation (PSIM) package a simulation experiment is established to verify the performance of the proposed technique. Noting that, the output is free from higher order harmonics and the AC grid voltage and current are in phase.
