We present a new approach for the modeling of image processing operators. This model accounts for the information transformations made by the operators, and describes precisely the produced entities intervening as visual cues. Therefore, an operator sequence is considered as a concept constructor supplying a description of the concepts of specifics fields. First, we describe the elementary components of this model and give an example of concept construction. Then, we show how this model is used to solve objectives of application areas.
