Advanced Cruise-Assist Highway Systems (AHS) are being developed in the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) field. AHS purpose is to prevent traffic accidents by supporting driver behavior with real-time information about roads and nearby vehicles. Based on this idea, we previously proposed a right turn assistance system at intersections. In the previous system, we captured the images of oncoming vehicles using a camera installed behind the opposing right-turning vehicles. However, an assistance image offered by this camera does not have enough stability because a range captured by this camera depends on traffic circumstances. So we cannot establish practical system. To solve these problems, we proposed a new capture method that uses an infrastructure camera installed on top of traffic lights. In this paper, we propose a new algorithm to generate assistance images from an infrastructure camera.
