In view of the problem of close-range collision avoidance in the space navigation of the two spacecraft, by the VVLH relative orbit coordinate system, “high lift and low drop” avoidance guideline is proposed. The application of this guideline on two spacecraft can make the spacecraft with high orbit height lift and the spacecraft with low orbit height drop, so as to widen the relative distance between the two to achieve avoidance. Applied to two high orbit spacecraft close-range collision scenarios, the trajectory simulation results show that this Guideline can effectively realize the collision avoidance of spacecraft.
