Motor traffic is an integral part of modern life. Transport systems affect the economic, social, and cultural development of society. Therefore, the improvement of transport networks is relevant, since it guarantees better living standards and mobility. The study presents a mathematical model for calculating the average speed of the leading vehicle for the non-stop passage of signal-controlled intersections with coordinated traffic control. The input data on traffic at signal-controlled intersections were collected using the YOLOv4 neural network. The authors obtained the dependence of the average speeds of the leading car on the time the traffic lane is cleared and the dependence of changes in CO and PM2.5 pollutant emissions on the number of vehicles in the queue. The study demonstrated the advantage of using the developed mathematical model to reduce the delay time of crossing signal-controlled intersections, increase the average travel speed, and, as a result, reduce the amount of harmful traffic-related emissions.
