The importance of safety restraint systems in cars has increased during the previous ten years. Since several studies have demonstrated how airbags improve passenger safety, they are by far the most crucial component of a car’s safety system. Without question, airbags save lives, and the number of lives they have saved is continuously rising. However, the standard system airbags frequently fail to protect the driver and passengers, increasing death and high crash rates. This paper proposed an air cushion restraint system with bumper extension for smart automobiles using IoT to address this issue. By reducing the force of the vehicle impact and preventing collisions, the suggested system increases safety for the driver and passengers during a collision with the vehicle.
