In this paper, we present a mathematical model of MIMO visible light communication (VLC) based vehicle to vehicle (V2V) Communications. The LED lamps of the car are considered as multiple transmitters, and the photodiodes (PDs) installed on the car are considered as multiple receivers. This system can be modeled as an optical MIMO configuration. The road surface reflection that causes inter-symbol interference (ISI) is also considered. The simulation results show that the bit error rate (BER) performance and the communication distance have been improved than the single input single output (SISO) system. The V2V communications scheme proposed in this paper can be used as one high-speed communication in Intelligent Connected Vehicle to improve communication efficiency.
