State-of-the-art naval applications offer a high level of complexity, containing e.g. linear, hybrid and nonlinear elements. To achieve both, high supply reliability and high voltage quality, the topics grid stability, interaction and error scenarios have to be taken into account in the early conceptual design work-phase which is dominated by simulative analysis.
