The problem of active vibration isolation for a new type of whole-spacecraft vibration isolation system (WSVIS) is studied in order to improve the whole-spacecraft vibration isolation performance. Piezoelectric stack is selected as the actuator, and its dynamical equations are formulated. Based on the actual measured frequency response function, and using eigensystem realization algorithm, the state-space model of WSVIS can be obtained. And then the dSPACE Real-Time Simulation System is used to perform the active vibration isolation experiment of WSVIS. The experimental results show that the whole-spacecraft active vibration isolation system can effectively reduce the vibration loads transmitted to satellite, especially have a significant inhibitory effect on low-frequency vibration components, and can greatly improve the safety and reliability of the satellite.
