The finite element analysis simulation and engineering calculation of compression stability for T800 fiber-reinforced composite panel are performed. In the case of fixed end support and simple four-sided support, the influence of boundary conditions on the composite stiffened panel’s buckling mode and buckling load are studied. Combined with the structural characteristics of the I-ribs, the engineering algorithm is made with six different boundary assumptions. Then the algorithm results are compared and verified with the results obtained by the finite element analysis. A method for selecting boundary conditions and calculating parameters for the I-ribs composite stiffened panel is presented, which is in good agreement with the finite element results.
