This paper deals with the multi-objective sizing of hybrid generation energy system for remote area context. A design of wind/PV/split-generator/ storage battery model is optimized with the objective of minimizing the life cycle cost (LCC), CO2 emissions and dump energy using a genetic algorithm (GA). A 25-year lifecycle is suggested to meet the user's load requirement for different scenarios respecting this tri-objective. The obtained results of the proposed GA-based multi-objective optimization approach illustrate its practicality and applicability to the hybrid power system model, including optimal energy management, economic analysis, environmental impact and high reliability.
