In this paper, we derive analytical expressions for the outage probability and the ergodic capacity of a wireless powered communications (WPC) system operating in a Nakagami-m fading environment. The source node harnesses power from a dedicated power beacon (PB) with multiple antennas and uses the harvested power to transmit data to a destination node in the presence of co-channel interference. The analysis considers both fixed and random distance between the PB and the source node. The analytical results show the impact of link level parameters such as the path loss exponent, co-channel interference, number of antennas in the PB and density of PBs on the performance of the WPC system. Numerical and simulation results are presented to illustrate the analysis.
