Multisite (multistatic, netted) radar systems (MSRSs) are known and have been investigated for many years (for a brief historical outline of MSRSs in Soviet Union, Russia, and the United States, as well as a list of main publications in the open world literature up to 1997, see [1]). It is well known that the MSRS has a series of advantages compared to monostatic radar or several radars not integrated in a multisite system.
