An integrated stage AC-DC converter is a prevalent driver for light-emitting diodes (LED). Modeling of the AC-DC converter is complex due to the varying steady-state equilibrium point in the time-varying input. To overcome this the average state-space model is averaged again over the half-line cycle to obtain a steady-state equilibrium for the system. This working model analyses the small signal input admittance for a single-phase integrated boost buck-boost (IB3) power factor corrected (PFC) AC-DC converter for LED. A large-signal model is also proposed for the input impedance that overcomes the restrictions of standard piece-wise linearized models. To validate the high-frequency model, the parameters of UCC3817 PFC pre-regulators were used and validation was done at the $1/10^{th}$ of the cross-over frequency of the voltage loop.
