The landside transportation system is a critical component of the comprehensive transportation hub at airports. Accurate passenger flow forecasting not only ensures the efficient operation of the airport but also provides a crucial basis for subsequent design efforts. This paper, focusing on the two key influencing factors of tourist numbers in Qinghai Province and the GDP of Xining City, employs time series analysis, linear regression forecasting, Bobugamen formula, trend extrapolation, and econometric models to conduct a scientific prediction of the passenger throughput at Caojiapu Airport for the upcoming years. The results offer a scientific foundation and design approach for the development and construction of similar airports and integrated transportation hubs.
