More than 90 years ago, Robert Goddard was the first to test the first ever liquid-fueled rocket, and these types of rockets are still our prime machines to travel vast distances. But the conventional methods for rocket propulsion will be redefined soon enough. This paper discusses different rocket propulsion techniques for deep space travel such as electrically powered spacecraft propulsion and nuclear propulsion.
