This study deals with airplane construction material flammability and is focused on aircraft with MTOW of 2500 kg or less. All combustibility tests were examined by a conic calorimeter that matching with a norm of ISO 5660-1: 2002. By individual testing of all exterior building and interior furnishing materials, an airplane is made of; we achieve results as the basis for further composing of safety recommendations for fire and rescue services while assisting at air disasters. Also, the study very briefly deals with fundamental sources for fire-resistant materials used in the aviation industry and their testing as well. Besides this, the study describes basic construction materials and a variety of other ones used for building aircraft with MTOW of 2500 kg or less.
