The aim of this work is to demonstrate the ability of the VHDL-AMS language to deal with the modelling of complex mechatronics systems, highlighting its modularity and the possibility of multi-team work and strong collaboration in the design. It is applied to simulate the operation of an electric vehicle. What is looked at is the autonomy between charges and the time to recharge depleted energy storages, in an effort to reduce and optimize power consumption and charge of the vehicle.
