The passive safety device of operating bus is an important device to minimize personal injury after traffic accidents, which is of great significance to protect people's life safety and reduce the consequences of accidents. In this paper, the composition, working principle and typical faults of the passive safety device of the operating bus are studied, and the fault mode system of the passive safety device of the operating bus is formed, which provides a theoretical basis for the early warning and remote diagnosis of the failure of the passive safety device.
