In this paper, a transition state compensation control method for distributed electric propulsion system is proposed for the asymmetric failure problem of electric aircraft, which takes into account thrust and yaw moment. The permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) model and the aircraft yaw moment mathematical model is established, and based on the yaw moment suffered by the aircraft, a variable command decision-making including yaw moment compensation term is established. Meanwhile, an instruction tracking control algorithm is designed for variable command decision making, and the parameters of the designed control algorithm are optimized by intelligent algorithm. The thrust-yaw moment cooperative compensation control after asymmetric failure of distributed electric propulsion (DEP) systems is completed through the fast response of electric propeller to compensate the aircraft yaw moment during the operating time of control surface. In this paper, MATLAB/Simulink simulation is carried out. The simulation results show that the proposed control method can accomplish the thrust response task of the electric propulsion system while reducing the yaw moment of the electric aircraft, which indicates the effectiveness of the proposed method.
